Edgley EA-7 Optica

Originally designed and built in1974 by British company Edgley Aircraft Limited, the Edgley EA-7 Optica was meant to function as a lightweight observation platform. Incredibly unique in it's shape and appearance, it had a fully glazed forward cabin which flaunted a full 270° panoramic view which also allowed the pilot almost complete vertical and horizontal viewing from inside the cockpit. The Optica was capable of loiter speeds of 81 Mp/H (130 Km/H ; 70Kn) and possessed a stall speed of 67 Mp/H (108 Km/H ; 58Kn).

There were a total of 22 Opticas that were built with a 23rd in the process of construction but never completed. 10 Opticas were destroyed after an attack devastated the factory that was manufacturing them. 2 Opticas were damaged in accidents but would be successfully repaired. There are only 12 Opticas left.
